2013/14 Notes/Review: Team missed the state playoffs for the first time in a long time after graduating 12 seniors from the 2012-2013 squad but still finished over .500 for the season. Started 8 sophomores off and on throughout the season and only graduated 2 seniors (one of whom was our starting keeper, Tony Castro who played at GCC this year). The sophomores gained a lot of experience and we look to have a much more experienced and seasoned squad on the pitch and coming off our bench this year.

2013 notes/review: 2013 was a difficult year for the Criminal Soccer program. We had lost many returning seniors and the squad suffered injuries and ineligibility early on. This year’s focus is to develop the program into a disciplined, and efficient group that acknowledges the importance of team norms and expectations on and off the field. We aim to produce complete scholar/athletes who are competent both on and off the field. With few returners and a still relatively young and inexperienced squad, with optimism and hard work, we are poised to make progress toward our overall goal of making Yuma High soccer a force to be reckoned with.
